Hm, interesting query. My first instinct is to say, go for an updo! Of course those take practice and patience, but if you can get them right, they can really pay off. Something like a gibson roll or beehive with a curled bang, depending on which era you prefer.
An easy style I always like to turn to is a simple half-up-half-down style. Just take a section of hair on each side, give it a twist and pin or beret it in place. Of course if you’ve got the down-do perfectly perfected, you can always just dress it up with a flower or a sparkly comb. Pinup Girl Clothing has some wonderful rhinestone hair accessories that will definitely draw attention.
And then of course, I definitely recommend you keep trying victory rolls! They take practice but they’re definitely a vintage staple. Check out some youtube tutorials and always make sure you have enough teasing and decent hairspray to build a decent base.
I sure hope that helped. Congratulations on your graduation! xoxo
